I know its Today-the New Broadway musical Shrek… yes its ON Broadway.
–>So my day started at 9:30 when i had to board the bus for swimming tryouts. yes besides Field hockey, i am a swimmer, or at least was; a swimmer. To me swimming, i did it for fun, excerise and to not drown in a pool lol, but i actually really liked it. I never did compition because it was costly(for a good one), you need to join some pool club(costly) or i didn’t have time. I once did Piano, Karate, Art, Girl Scouts, Soccer, Swimming all at once and they were all more then once a week… I never got attached to one thing lol.
–>Back to my day; i was nervous and scared. I wanted to make it while i didn’t. Like Swimming is VERY tiring, and stressful unless you like it. So i had mixed feelings when i went in… and it was only a VARSITY TEAM.. so they practice like extra hard… Anyway there were a lot of freshman there, but sadly i wasn’t close friends with any (my close friend who was gonna try out with me, forgot to hand in her papers.. and she wasn’t cleared). So we had a warm up lap.. 200 meters.. and lets just say i haven’t swam in like 4 months… rusty much?! but it doesn’t end there. so after that we had trials to do freestyle, butterfly, breast, and we had to do the block jump into the pool… lets just say i can’t do them.. well i can. but im not confident in them, cause about 2-3/5 times i would bellyflop and it hurts like hell. I knew in the middle i wasn’t going to make it, but i continued anyway… so then the coach told us the results and as you can guess i didn’t make it. I wasn’t sad or depressed,cause i realized if i made the team, it would take a lot of effort… haha now im going to do clubs:D
—>So this boy i know from a school play we did; copacabana invited me and pretty much everyone i knew to his Bar Mitzvah; a Jewish ceremony from where a boy turns into a man. I missed the early Temple Ceremony because i was at the swimming tryouts, so i came late. I knew he would have an over top party, but i didn’t know it would be tons of fun too *cause not all my friends went…* but the ones who did, made it awesome. He had a kickass DJ, who dressed up in costumes and he had dancers who made everyone come to the dancefloor. He also had a photo booth thing where you can put your image on a celebrity Magazine, Poster or Billboard. My friend and i (whose a boy) decided to get one of these body builder and a super model. and Omg it was hilarious, i would show the picture, but since its the Internet, you need to be careful.x] and there was more photos and a coil making guy and tons of candy. His theme was “movie magic” or something like that, so he had like a paparazzi carpet and a guy filming the whole party. I swear i was ready to give a testimonial (like on my Super Sweet 16) about the party. It was the party of the year. haha well for now. I don’t think i could/would spend that much money on a party though, but it’s big in his religion so why not. and we also got a sweatshirt and a chocolate golden globe as party favors. oh and btw-there was over 400 people.
